Talesun Photovoltaic’s R&D team recently announced that the company’s next-generation N-type solar cell has achieved an efficiency exceeding 23.5%. Compared with conventional P-type PERC cells, this new cell employs N-type silicon wafers and, through optimized texturing, passivation processes, and electrode‑pattern design, enhances carrier transport performance and significantly reduces the J0 current, thereby boosting overall cell efficiency. As a next‑generation cell architecture, the project team anticipates that its efficiency will surpass 24.5% within the year, continuing to advance toward the 25% target. These breakthroughs in cell technology will accelerate the production and deployment of this new product, substantially increase module power output, and deliver greater value to customers.
