Recently, the Joint Conference Office of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta released the second batch of recommended industrial internet platforms and specialized service providers for the corridor. The industrial internet platform for full‑lifecycle management of photovoltaic products, developed by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully included in this list. This project was jointly selected by nine regions, including Jiaxing, Suzhou, and Wuhu, to thoroughly implement the State Council’s “Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Development of the Industrial Internet through ‘Internet Plus’ and Advanced Manufacturing” and the “Implementation Plan for Promoting the Coordinated Development of the Industrial Internet within the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.”

This project is part of the second batch of recommended industrial internet platforms and specialized service providers, jointly selected by nine regions including Jiaxing, Suzhou, and Wuhu, in order to thoroughly implement the State Council’s Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Development of the Industrial Internet under the “Internet Plus Advanced Manufacturing” Initiative and the Implementation Plan for Promoting Coordinated Development of the Industrial Internet within the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. Through this effort, the industrial internet–driven innovation ecosystem of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor will be further enhanced.
Since 2014, Talesun Photovoltaic has invested a total of RMB 1 billion, successfully completing key initiatives including the construction of its smart factory infrastructure, equipment procurement, technological upgrades, and IT modernization. In collaboration with strategic partners such as Huawei and Unisplendour, the company has developed one of the first provincial-level industrial Internet platforms in the photovoltaic sector, addressing both product manufacturing and power‑plant construction and operations. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like digital twins, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence, it has deployed five platform‑based application scenarios: intelligent product design, digitalized production workflows, real-time visualization of the production floor, advanced quality‑inspection automation, and integrated full‑lifecycle management. The result is an end‑to‑end smart manufacturing service system for the photovoltaic industry, built on the industrial Internet and encompassing critical modules such as R&D and design, intelligent manufacturing, supply‑chain management, power‑plant engineering and construction, smart operations and maintenance, and big‑data analytics and feedback. This platform was recognized in 2018 as both a Jiangsu Provincial Industrial Internet Platform and a five‑star cloud‑enabled enterprise.
Against the backdrop of current industry development, building industrial Internet platforms and leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data can significantly enhance product value and customer service quality, paving a promising new path for the photovoltaic industry’s transformation and upgrading.
