Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology announced the list of recognized Industrial Design Centers for 2016, and Talesun Photovoltaic was among the recipients. The designation of a provincial-level industrial design center will help enhance the company’s innovation capabilities in industrial design, enrich its portfolio of innovative outcomes, and serve as an important model to drive broader industry advancement. In recent years, Talesun Photovoltaic has achieved significant results in industrial design: it has twice been awarded the Third Prize of the Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award, once each with the First and Second Prizes of the Changshu Science and Technology Progress Award, and seven of its projects have passed expert panel evaluations of scientific and technological achievements—six of these projects reaching domestically leading technical standards, while one has attained an internationally advanced level. The designation as a provincial-level industrial design center will help enhance the company’s capabilities in industrial design innovation, enrich its portfolio of innovative designs, and serve as an important model to drive broader industry-wide progress.
In recent years, Talesun Photovoltaic Industrial Design has achieved significant results: it has twice received the Third Prize of the Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award, and once each of the First and Second Prizes of the Changshu Science and Technology Progress Award. Seven of its achievements have been certified by expert panels as scientific and technological advances, with six projects reaching domestically leading technical levels and one attaining an internationally advanced standard. The company has served as chief editor or participated in the development of 20 standards and published more than 20 academic papers. It has been granted over 120 patents, and 14 new products have been recognized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology as “High‑Tech Products.”

We will also establish a smart‑energy industrial design center grounded in renewable sources such as photovoltaics, integrating advanced energy storage, building‑integrated photovoltaic systems, and distributed generation technologies. Furthermore, by embracing the ‘Internet Plus Photovoltaics’ approach, we aim to build an open, service‑oriented, nationwide industrial design center that covers the entire photovoltaic value chain.”
