Recently, the Turkish photovoltaic power plant project supplied by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. is set to connect to the grid. Located in Kahramanmaraş Province, Turkey, the project has an installed capacity of 5 MWp and exclusively utilizes Talesun Photovoltaic’s large‑format, high‑efficiency TOPCon modules, delivering efficient, stable, and reliable power generation while providing a strong boost to the region’s transition to green energy.
Turkey’s abundant solar resources provide ideal natural conditions for the development of its photovoltaic industry. Guided by its carbon‑neutrality goals, the Turkish government has placed greater emphasis on the energy transition. In the renewable‑energy generation sector, solar power has garnered significant attention due to its strong economic viability.
According to calculations, the project will generate more than 7 million kWh of electricity annually, yielding over 14 million Turkish lira in annual revenue (based on an electricity tariff of 2 lira per kWh). It will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 130,000 tonnes over a 30-year lifecycle. This not only meets the region’s substantial demand for green energy and fosters sustainable economic development, but also makes a significant contribution to optimizing Turkey’s energy mix and advancing environmental protection.
