Amid the global surge in clean energy development, the photovoltaic industry is capturing worldwide attention with its unique appeal. Recently, Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Talesun Photovoltaic”) joined forces with Turkey’s MEM Company to jointly sign a memorandum of understanding for a 1.5 GW photovoltaic project at Talesun Photovoltaic’s Turkish subsidiary. This milestone underscores the further deepening of the two parties’ cooperation in the clean energy sector and highlights Talesun Photovoltaic’s unwavering commitment and growing strength in expanding its footprint across the global clean energy landscape.
In the current international trade environment, the photovoltaic industry faces numerous challenges, including trade restrictions and tariff barriers. This collaboration will help overcome such trade impediments and open up new channels for the export of Talesun photovoltaic products. Under the memorandum, the two parties will leverage their respective strengths to jointly develop a 1.5 GW photovoltaic module project over the next three years.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Xing Yabin, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Talesun Photovoltaic, stated: “MEM has long been one of Talesun Photovoltaic’s key strategic partners. In 2022, we jointly built a photovoltaic module production line with an annual capacity of 1 GW in Kahramanmaraş Province, southern Turkey. The signing of this memorandum of understanding for a 1.5 GW photovoltaic project marks another significant step in Talesun global expansion strategy. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our industrial collaboration and work together to drive innovation and growth in the photovoltaic sector.”
