In May 2025, Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Talesun Photovoltaic”) and Yemen’s Al-Fadawi Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Talesun Photovoltaic’s headquarters in Suzhou. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration spanning photovoltaic product distribution, localized services, and project development. This partnership marks another step forward for Chinese PV companies in strengthening their market presence on the Arabian Peninsula, injecting new momentum into the region’s energy transition.

Under the agreement, Fadawi Group will serve as Talesun Photovoltaic’s partner in Yemen and across the Arabian Peninsula, responsible for promoting and selling Talesun photovoltaic modules, energy storage systems, and new‑energy solutions. Leveraging its world‑leading N‑type high‑efficiency module technology and 40 GW of global project‑operation experience, Talesun Photovoltaic will provide Al‑Fadawi Group with end‑to‑end support, spanning product supply, technical training, and after‑sales operations and maintenance.

The Arabian Peninsula boasts abundant solar resources, yet faces a severe energy shortage. Take Yemen as an example: a significant portion of its population still lacks access to reliable electricity, making the development of the photovoltaic industry a crucial pathway for improving living standards and boosting economic growth. Talesun Photovoltaic will leverage its extensive experience in the Middle Eastern market, combined with Al-Fadawi Group’s strong local resource advantages, to accelerate the deployment and application of its products in Yemen and neighboring countries.
Looking ahead, the two parties will use Yemen as a strategic foothold to extend their reach to neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia and Oman, jointly developing a new‑energy cooperation model that integrates products, services, and localized ecosystems, thereby offering a “Talesun Solution” to support the region’s energy transition.
