The 2021 European Smart Energy Exhibition kicked off with great fanfare from October 6 to 8 at the New Munich International Exhibition Centre in Germany. Talesun Photovoltaic showcased three high-efficiency PV modules at the event, while its European team engaged with leading manufacturers, distributors, developers, investors, and installers to exchange insights and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
At the exhibition, Talesun Photovoltaic showcased its 415W Feather series lightweight modules. By comprehensively considering factors such as raw material selection, overall structural design, and the use of large‑size solar cells, the company has developed a new generation of Feather‑series lightweight modules that deliver outstanding performance while weighing significantly less than conventional products. For rooftop PV systems, these lightweight modules can effectively reduce roof load and lower installation costs.
In addition, Talesun BIPRO series bifacial double-glass modules and the BISTAR series half-cell all-black modules made a striking debut at the exhibition. Both product lines feature 182 mm large-format half-cell wafers and a multi-busbar design, delivering excellent PID resistance and effectively boosting conversion efficiency, thereby ensuring high investment returns for solar power plants.
In the European photovoltaic market, Germany is undeniably the leading player. With 4.8 GW of new installations in 2020, Germany has maintained its dominant position in Europe for two decades. From January to July 2021, Germany added another 3.2 GW of PV capacity; as of the end of July this year, its cumulative installed PV capacity reached 55.7 GW.
