Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released the first batch of 2017 demonstration lists for green manufacturing systems, and Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “Green Factory.” This accolade builds on Talesun Photovoltaic’s previous recognition as a Jiangsu Province Clean Production Factory and a Suzhou City Energy Efficiency Star—Four-Star Factory, further establishing the company as an advanced model in green manufacturing. In the MIIT’s “Made in China 2025” initiative, building green factories is designated as a key priority, with a target to establish one thousand green demonstration factories by 2020. Establishing green factories, as a crucial component of China’s efforts to develop a green manufacturing system, is integral to implementing green manufacturing practices.

In the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Made in China 2025” document, the state has designated the development of green factories as a key priority, setting the goal of establishing one thousand model green factories by 2020. Establishing green factories—key to building China’s green manufacturing system—is a central task under the Green Manufacturing Initiative, playing a leading role and holding significant importance in promoting structural optimization, overcoming difficulties, upgrading industries, and enhancing quality and efficiency across all sectors of the industrial economy.
