Chen Bohan, Vice President of Zhongli Group, stated that the Suqian region boasts a superior geographic location and a well‑developed infrastructure. With the cumulative advantages of its supply chain, the area has established a distinct industrial development pattern and a high‑quality modern industrial system, providing ample opportunities for the photovoltaic manufacturing sector. The establishment of Talesun Photovoltaic’s 5 GW cell and 5 GW module project not only aligns with Zhongli Group’s strategic plan—helping the company expand its production base, enhance profitability, and strengthen its industry influence—but also aims to foster the clustering and upgrading of the photovoltaic industry, injecting new momentum into the growth of the new‑energy sector.
The investment and construction of Zhongli Group’s Siyang project will accelerate the industrial restructuring and upgrading of the Siyang Economic Development Zone, further boosting the healthy development of the photovoltaic industry. The project will fully leverage cutting-edge, fully automated intelligent manufacturing technologies—specifically for 210‑mm‑size high‑efficiency cells and modules—and place a strong emphasis on attracting technical talent to ensure steady progress. Completion and commissioning are expected in July.
2021 marked the inaugural year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. With the nation’s commitments to peak carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality, coupled with a series of macro‑policy initiatives, the new energy sector has entered a new phase of growth opportunities. As photovoltaic power generation stands as a key clean‑energy source, Zhongli Group will fully leverage local policy advantages to further expand its battery and module production capacity, strengthen its competitive edge, and align with the company’s long-term development strategy and the interests of all shareholders.
Talesun Photovoltaic focuses on the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and provision of turnkey photovoltaic power‑system solutions, covering residential PV systems, commercial and industrial PV systems, and the development and construction of large‑scale ground‑mounted solar farms. It is among the earliest companies in China to engage in power‑plant development and EPC services, with a global portfolio of over 7.5 GW of commissioned projects. The company has pioneered a new generation of agrivoltaics—“smart PV + tech‑driven agriculture.” Looking ahead, Talesun Photovoltaic will seize opportunities presented by new projects to strengthen its domestic foothold while expanding globally, enhancing the overall competitive edge of the PV industry chain and contributing modestly to the advancement of the green new‑energy sector.
