Recently, Wang Weifeng, Chairman of Talesun Photovoltaic; Sheng Hao, President; Chen Fu, Sales Director; and Wang Wei, OEM Manager, among other leaders, paid a visit to China Power Construction Group Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. They engaged in in-depth discussions with Zou Shengping, Chairman of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction; Cao Xinsheng, Director of the International Department; Xiong Jianming, Assistant to the General Manager; Xu Guangmin, Deputy Director of the Market Development Department; and Zhou Zhiguo, Procurement Manager, among others. During the talks, both sides reached a consensus: Jiangxi Electric Power Construction and Talesun Photovoltaic will embark on comprehensive, deeper‑level strategic cooperation, jointly developing photovoltaic projects with an average annual capacity of 1 GW, totaling no less than 3 GW over three years. They engaged in in-depth discussions with leaders including Zou Shengping, Chairman of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction; Cao Xinsheng, Director of the International Department; Xiong Jianming, Assistant to the General Manager; Xu Guangmin, Deputy Director of the Market Development Department; and Zhou Zhiguo, Procurement Manager.
During the talks, both parties reached a consensus that Jiangxi Electric Power Construction and Talesun Photovoltaic will embark on comprehensive, in-depth strategic cooperation, jointly developing photovoltaic projects with an average annual capacity of 1 GW, totaling no less than 3 GW over three years. Leveraging the respective strengths of their teams in technology, R&D, market access, and regional expertise, the two companies will closely align on PV projects across Southeast Asia, the Americas, Europe, and the domestic market, forging a powerful partnership that complements each other’s advantages, thereby enhancing their core competitiveness and achieving mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes.
Zou Shengping, Chairman of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., stated that, as a leading integrated developer of new‑energy power generation both domestically and internationally, the company will leverage its advantages in supply‑chain integration and its early‑mover internationalization to vigorously advance market development, project construction, and operations for photovoltaic projects at home and abroad under the Belt and Road Initiative. He expressed his anticipation of strengthening strategic cooperation with Talesun Photovoltaic in Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe, jointly driving the growth of new‑energy markets worldwide.
Commenting on this collaboration, Wang Weifeng, Chairman of Talesun Photovoltaic, stated that the company focuses on solar cells, modules, and photovoltaic power plants, with its products exported to Europe, the Americas, Japan, India, Australia, and other regions. To date, Talesun module shipments have reached more than 50 countries, totaling over 16 GW. While expanding sales of solar cells and modules, Talesun will also continue to ramp up development of downstream photovoltaic power plants and EPC projects.
