Talesun Photovoltaic expands into the industrial and commercial rooftop market overseas, breaking new ground in the Vietnamese market!

Recently, Talesun Photovoltaic and Singapore’s LYS Energy Group jointly signed a cooperation agreement via video conference for the development and EPC construction of photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 30 MW.

The Talesun Project Development Management Team signed a cooperation agreement with the senior management of LYS Energy Group.

It is reported that, due to the ongoing global COVID‑19 pandemic, this cooperation agreement was signed via video conference. Talesun will provide LYS Energy Group with development and EPC services for a 30 MW commercial and industrial distributed photovoltaic power plant in Southeast Asia. To date, Talesun has completed the first phase of the project—developing rooftop PV systems at five factories in Vietnam—and is now poised to enter the construction stage. Upon completion, the project will be owned and operated by LYS Energy Group.

Talesun Photovoltaic would undertake the project’s EPC contracting, and upon completion, A2A would acquire the facility. That same year, Talesun also played a key role in the successful commissioning of a 315 MW photovoltaic power plant in Argentina, making it the largest PV project in all of South America.

This successful signing has laid a very solid foundation for the two parties to jointly develop the Southeast Asian photovoltaic market in the future, while also marking a significant step forward in advancing their multi‑dimensional strategic cooperation across project development, module sales, and EPC construction.

Commenting on the signing of this cooperation agreement, Talesun Photovoltaic CEO Sheng Hao stated: “Talesun Photovoltaic has been strategically positioned in the Southeast Asian market for many years and places great importance on its local market potential. Talesun will continue to deepen its expansion into overseas markets, planning to develop 2–3 GW of large-scale ground-mounted solar power plants in Europe, Latin America, and other regions within the next two to three years. In Southeast Asia and Japan, it aims to commission approximately 200 MW of distributed-generation projects annually, coupled with EPC services.
