On April 7, 2017, the drafting meeting for the national energy industry standard “Polyolefin (POE) Encapsulation Insulating Film for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell Modules,” organized by the National Technical Committee for Insulation Materials Standards and hosted by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. Attendees included Luo Chuanyong, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Insulation Materials Standards; Ni Zhichun, Vice President of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.; Professor Ma Linquan from the Guilin Electrical Appliance Research Institute; as well as representatives from Baolida, Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, Sewo, Haiyouwei, Swike, Yijing Optoelectronics, CGC, CQC, Southeast University, Xinyang Normal University, Changshu Institute of Technology, and Yama.
On April 7, 2017, the drafting meeting for the national energy industry standard “Polyolefin (POE) Encapsulation Insulating Film for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell Modules,” organized by the National Technical Committee for Insulation Materials Standards and hosted by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. The meeting was attended by more than 30 experts from over 20 enterprises, universities, and research institutes, including Luo Chuanyong, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Insulation Materials Standards; Ni Zhichun, Vice President of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.; Professor Ma Linquan of the Guilin Electrical Appliance Research Institute; as well as representatives from Baolida, Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, Sewo, Haiyouwei, Swike, Yijing Optoelectronics, CGC, CQC, Southeast University, Xinyang Normal University, Changshu Institute of Technology, Amaton, Dow Chemical, Andy New Materials, and other organizations.
This standard was jointly led by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. and the Mechanical Industry Electrical Materials Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. At the meeting, the secretary-general of the standards committee presented the background for the standard’s development, the drafting notes, the content framework, and the planned timeline, and then provided a clause-by-clause overview of the draft standard. The attending experts engaged in lively discussions on the standard’s title, scope, referenced specifications, proposed test‑verification procedures, data‑selection criteria, and other issues, reaching a preliminary consensus. The meeting also decided to solicit broad feedback from the entire industry and welcomed all relevant organizations to participate in the standard‑development process.
