Recently, the Product Inspection and Testing Center of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. has obtained national laboratory accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), marking that its testing capabilities have reached a world‑class level in the industry. The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is a national accreditation body established and authorized by the State Administration for Market Regulation, and it is solely responsible for accrediting certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies, and other related organizations.
Recently, the Product Inspection and Testing Center of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. has obtained accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), signifying that its testing capabilities have reached a leading level in the industry.
The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is a national accreditation body established and authorized by the State Administration for Market Regulation. It is responsible for the unified accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies, and other relevant organizations. Laboratory accreditation is a third-party certification that formally demonstrates a testing laboratory’s competence to perform specific testing activities. As a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) mutual recognition arrangements, CNAS‑accredited test results are recognized by 55 authoritative institutions in 41 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Australia, and Japan.
In March 2016, the Product Inspection and Testing Center of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. initiated its CNAS accreditation process. Following system implementation, a formal application, preparation for the assessment, and submission and review of documentation, CNAS experts conducted a thorough, three-day on-site evaluation of the testing center at the end of February 2017. The assessment concluded that the center’s technical capabilities—covering software, hardware, and personnel resources—have reached an industry-leading level, demonstrating its competence and eligibility to perform relevant testing services in accordance with applicable standards. Moreover, the accuracy, authority, and impartiality of its test data fully meet all CNAS accreditation requirements. Following the on-site audit and a one-month approval period, the center has recently been officially granted CNAS accreditation.
In recent years, the center has actively collaborated with internationally renowned certification and testing organizations. In August 2016, it obtained the TMP (Testing at Manufactures Premises) certificate from TÜV SÜD; in October 2016, it received the TMP certificate from TÜV NORD; and in November of the same year, it successfully secured the TMP certificate from CSA.
