Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology convened a provincial-level appraisal meeting for new technologies and products at Talesun Photovoltaic. All four of the company’s new products successfully passed the evaluation, and the corresponding certification documents were officially issued shortly thereafter. The appraisal committee comprised seven leading experts in the photovoltaic industry, representing the Jiangsu Provincial Photovoltaic Industry Association, Sichuan University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Southeast University, Soochow University, the Shanghai Institute for Advanced Studies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Nanjing University. In addition, officials from the provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the town government attended the meeting. The session was chaired by a representative from the Changshu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and focused on the four new‑technology and new‑product projects under development.

The meeting was chaired by leaders from the Changshu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. For four new‑technology, new‑product projects, the R&D engineers presented detailed reports covering project background, product development, trial‑production summaries, technical assessments, and key technological innovations. The appraisal committee’s experts listened to the project presentations, reviewed the relevant technical documentation, and conducted a thorough examination and inquiry of the physical samples on site. Ultimately, they issued authoritative appraisal opinions: the “Low‑Cost, High‑Efficiency All‑Black Backside‑Grid Module,” the “High Power‑Density, Large‑Size, Multi‑Busbar Half‑Cell Module,” the “Lightweight, Low‑Luminosity‑Degradation, Bifacial Module Based on Back‑Surface Passivation and Wafer‑Slicing Technologies,” and the “Back‑Contact Passivated Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell” — all four Jiangsu‑province new‑technology, new‑product initiatives — successfully passed expert evaluation.
The four new products evaluated this time fully demonstrate Talesun Photovoltaic’s capabilities in technological R&D and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. These products feature low cost, high efficiency, long service life, and substantial power output, meeting the requirements of the national Leading‑Edge Program.
