On February 13, the two-day BePOSITIVE 2019 Lyon Energy Exhibition officially opened at the Lyon International Convention Center. As France’s largest, most influential, and most innovative green energy trade show, it attracted over 550 exhibitors from across France and around the world. With the theme “Development and Utilization of Renewable Energy,” the event showcased the latest energy technologies, new products, and emerging trends.

As a global leader in photovoltaic manufacturing, Talesun Photovoltaic showcased its latest PV products and industry‑specific solutions at the exhibition, presenting them to both the French domestic audience and more than 30,000 international visitors, while also reaching preliminary cooperation agreements with numerous overseas companies.
At this year’s exhibition, Talesun specially invited numerous French public utilities and energy companies to attend, engaging in in-depth discussions on-site about the current performance of their products and future plans for capacity procurement. On the first day of the event, the company secured letters of intent to purchase over 50 MW of solar modules.

Talesun Photovoltaic prominently showcased two product lines: high-efficiency monocrystalline double-glass modules and half-cell polycrystalline modules. The BISTAR TP6H60P is a 60-cell module that leverages half-cell polycrystalline cell technology, delivering a peak power of up to 300 W. The TWINKLE TP660M, also a 60-cell module, employs advanced double-glass PERC cell technology, with a peak power rating of 320 W. Moreover, the French market features numerous PV projects that impose stringent requirements on a product’s carbon footprint. As one of the few module manufacturers meeting these carbon‑footprint standards, Talesun Photovoltaic has drawn significant attention from local project developers in France.

At present, Chinese companies already command half of the global photovoltaic market. With the market fully expanding, further cultivating regional niche segments will be a key strategy for future growth. The European market has long been a strategic priority for Talesun Photovoltaic. Sonia Benard, Vice President of Sales for Europe and Africa, stated: “This exhibition is rooted in France and extends across Europe to the global stage. We are deeply honored to participate. Europe has always been a cornerstone of our strategic focus, and this event has provided an excellent platform for Talesun Photovoltaic to showcase cutting-edge technologies and new products. Engaging with industry peers, upstream and downstream partners, and visitors has deepened our understanding of the French and broader European niche markets. Moving forward, we will continue to elevate our R&D capabilities, accelerate the deployment of high‑efficiency PV products, and ensure that green energy better meets the needs of France and the European region.”
