Kailun Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and construction services for waterproofing materials, and has been recognized as a “Demonstration Enterprise for Quality Improvement in China’s Waterproofing Industry.” Addressing a wide range of application scenarios—covering new‑build roofs, roof renovations, and existing rooftop installations—Kailun has developed the CSPV system, a photovoltaic roofing solution designed to deliver over 25 years of service life while delivering top‑tier waterproofing performance. Built on the client‑side’s advanced TPO or PVC waterproofing membranes, this system seamlessly integrates multiple functional requirements—including waterproofing, thermal insulation, and fire resistance—and is specifically tailored to meet the needs of both Building‑Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) and Building‑Attached Photovoltaics (BAPV), offering a comprehensive “full‑life‑cycle photovoltaic roofing” solution.
Commenting on this collaboration, Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun Photovoltaic, stated that the Comprehensive Department of the National Energy Administration has issued a notice soliciting pilot proposals for county‑ (city‑ or district‑)wide rooftop distributed PV development.
