Talesun Photovoltaic has secured a series of 108 MW project orders in Poland.

Recently, Talesun Photovoltaic announced a comprehensive partnership with Alledo Parts, one of Poland’s largest PV distributors and installers, to supply a total of 108 MW in photovoltaic project orders. This portfolio includes both a 70 MW utility‑scale solar power plant and a 38 MW distribution‑channel project.

In the 70 MW project, Talesun Photovoltaic will provide end-to-end services, from technical support to final delivery, for this new‑energy initiative. Upon completion, 159,090 solar modules will be deployed, supplying ample green electricity to the local grid.

In this collaboration, Talesun is supplying the TP6L72M(H)-440W high-efficiency module, which currently ranks among the most sought-after and popular 166‑mm photovoltaic modules in the global market.

Located in Central and Eastern Europe, Poland experienced relatively slow growth in its photovoltaic sector during the early stages. According to BloombergNEF data, from 2016 to 2018, the country added 99 MW, 81 MW, and 210 MW of new capacity, respectively. In 2019, the Polish PV market witnessed a significant boom, with new installations reaching 810 MW. According to the “EU Solar Market Outlook 2019–2023” report by research firms Intersolar and Solar Power Europe, Poland ranked among the top five EU countries in terms of annual新增装机量. This robust growth was driven by the country’s PV incentive programs and the widespread adoption of corporate net-metering policies.

Notably, according to Chinese customs data, in 2019 China exported 349 MW of photovoltaic modules to Poland, accounting for 44.5% of the country’s newly installed capacity—nearly half. As a leading Chinese PV exporter, Talesun Photovoltaic has made a substantial contribution to both this shipment volume and the development of Poland’s renewable energy sector.

According to relevant data, as early as 2018, Talesun Photovoltaic’s market share in Poland exceeded 20%. Compared with 2018, its shipments in Poland continued to grow last year. In October 2019, the 315 MW Gauchaí photovoltaic power plant in Argentina, equipped with modules from Talesun Photovoltaic, was completed—making it the largest PV project in the country and across South America. Once operational, it will help more than 60,000 Argentine households overcome electricity shortages. That same year, Talesun Photovoltaic signed a cooperation agreement with A2A, Italy’s second-largest utility company, under which the two parties will jointly develop 1 GW of solar capacity in Italy.

In China, five years ago, Talesun Photovoltaic pioneered the “Smart PV + Tech‑Driven Agriculture” and “PV Farms in Impoverished Villages” models, establishing itself as a global leader in the solar‑power industry. To date, Talesun Photovoltaic has developed 1.2 GW of poverty‑alleviation PV farm projects across more than 40 impoverished counties nationwide, helping a cumulative total of 750,000 impoverished households escape poverty.
