Recently, the Suzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation announced the list of approved projects under the 2021 High‑Value Patent Cultivation Program, and Talesun Photovoltaic was successfully selected. On December 13, Talesun Photovoltaic, together with Zhongli Group and Suzhou Weishibo, co‑hosted a launch ceremony for the High‑Value Patent Cultivation Program in Changshu, in collaboration with the Suzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and the Changshu Municipal Administration for Market Regulation. The Suzhou High‑Value Patent Cultivation Program aims to implement the requirements set forth in the “Notice on Issuing the Administrative Measures for the Suzhou High‑Value Patent Cultivation Program (Trial)” and the “Notice on Several Measures for Building a Highland of Industrial Technological Innovation,” with a particular focus on enhancing enterprises’ capabilities in scientific research, development, and innovation.

The Suzhou High-Value Patent Cultivation Program aims to implement the requirements set forth in the “Notice on Issuing the Administrative Measures for the Suzhou High-Value Patent Cultivation Program (Trial)” and the “Notice on Several Measures for Building a Hub of Industrial Technological Innovation,” with a focus on elevating enterprises’ R&D and innovation capabilities and enhancing the quality of their patents.
This successful project approval is a testament to Talesun Photovoltaic’s efforts in intellectual property management, and it will play a positive role in accelerating the company’s R&D innovation and technology transfer, as well as in strengthening its technological protection and IP framework, thereby injecting new momentum into the company’s rapid growth.
Since 2017, Talesun Photovoltaic has consistently prioritized intellectual property development and established a standardized IP management system. To date, the company has filed a total of 540 patent applications and been granted 226 patents, including 74 invention patents and 7 overseas invention patents.
At the unveiling ceremony, Chen Xinxiang, Vice President of Zhongli Group, stated: “Through the implementation of this high‑value patent cultivation project, we plan to build, over a three‑year period, a highly qualified, comprehensively skilled team of intellectual property professionals; continuously refine and optimize our IP management system; establish a mechanism for cultivating high‑value patents; actively engage in IP commercialization activities; and develop an enterprise‑specific IP management model that reflects Talesun unique characteristics.”
Talesun Photovoltaic will continue to strengthen its intellectual property framework, excel in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of photovoltaic products, enhance patent quality, and refine its pre‑filing novelty searches and both domestic and international patent‑filing strategies. By developing high‑quality integrated photovoltaic modules, the company aims to advance the application of solar energy in the building sector, drive technological innovation across the PV industry and the green‑building industrialization landscape, and contribute to the early achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
