This summit has invited photovoltaic companies and industry‑related organizations from around the world, showcasing presentation materials from key global stakeholders that influence PV module manufacturing, supply, testing, inspection, auditing, installation, financing, and operations, while providing opportunities for direct engagement with them.
Shen Minqi delivered a keynote address on Talesun many years of EPC project experience, noting that from its very inception, Talesun has been committed to developing global photovoltaic power‑plant projects and undertaking EPC contracts. He highlighted that Talesun Photovoltaic is among the earliest companies in China—and indeed worldwide—to pioneer the agrivoltaics sector. As early as 2015, Talesun broke new ground by introducing the “PV+” model, launching two groundbreaking initiatives: “Smart PV + Tech‑Driven Agriculture” and “PV Farms for Impoverished Villages.” In addition, Talesun has successfully completed numerous large‑scale ground‑mounted solar farms and commercial‑industrial distributed‑generation EPC projects around the globe. In 2012, Talesun invested in Jiayuguan and built what was then China’s largest single‑site ground‑mounted solar farm, marking a significant milestone in the Chinese photovoltaic industry. Throughout its extensive experience in power‑plant development, Talesun has established partnerships with more than 40 leading financial institutions worldwide, including Citibank, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC, providing comprehensive financing solutions across the entire value chain of solar projects.
In recent years, the growth rate of large-scale ground-mounted solar power plants worldwide has largely remained at the level seen in the previous two years, with some markets even experiencing a downward trend. By contrast, distributed photovoltaic systems—particularly rooftop installations for commercial and industrial users—have shown steady year-over-year expansion. Over the next two to three years, the development of commercial‑industrial distributed PV is set to become a critical driver of global solar growth. Capitalizing on this trend, Talesun has already shifted its project‑development focus toward EPC contracts for commercial‑industrial distributed systems. In her presentation, Shen Minqi outlined several prevailing business models for such projects and provided a case study of Talesun first 560 kW commercial‑industrial EPC project, completed in Vietnam in September, drawing keen interest from numerous construction firms and developers in the audience.
