At this exhibition, Talesun showcased two high-efficiency monocrystalline modules, which also represent the company’s flagship high-performance products for the second half of the year. The HIPRO TP672M utilizes 72 cells measuring 158.75 mm in size, based on monocrystalline PERC technology. Compared with conventional 156.75 mm monocrystalline PERC modules, it delivers more than 10% higher power output, with a maximum rating of up to 400 W. Complementing it is the BISTAR TP6H72M, which features 72 cells employing 158.75 mm monocrystalline PERC cell‑cutting technology, achieving a peak power of up to 410 W—making it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial installations.
Talesun Photovoltaic Large-Size High-Efficiency Monocrystalline Modules
Currently, Talesun Photovoltaic is one of the few companies in the industry capable of mass‑producing 158.75 mm monocrystalline PERC modules, which has drawn significant attention to its two product lines at the trade show. Upgrades to the production lines at Talesun facilities in China and Thailand are well underway; by the third quarter of this year, the company will increase supply of 158.75 mm monocrystalline PERC modules to meet the market’s strong demand for high efficiency and low levelized cost of electricity. Meanwhile, KS certification for these products is in progress, with Talesun expected to complete KS certification for its 390–400 W modules by the third quarter, thereby satisfying the regulatory requirements for the Korean market.
At the exhibition, several local Korean distributors were present to explore cooperation with Talesun, aiming to leverage their respective strengths to boost Talesun brand awareness in South Korea and expand product sales. Meanwhile, the renowned Korean media outlet Aving News conducted an on-site interview with Guo Chunyan, the Sales Manager for the Korean region. She stated that by the end of 2019, Talesun Solar will have reached an module production capacity of 8 GW. Looking ahead, the Korean market will prioritize high-efficiency modules, and in the second half of the year, the company will be able to offer modules exceeding 400 W per cell. Talesun plans to proactively pursue EPC partnerships in Korea, and for premium projects ranging from 0.5 to 2 MW, it may opt for full‑ownership investment when necessary. For rooftop residential projects, the company will adopt an agency or distribution model to sell its products. Talesun Solar remains highly confident in the Korean market, where demand for solar modules is surging.
