Talesun Photovoltaic showcased its high-efficiency “Qilin” modules along with a range of other product lines, presenting customers with multi‑faceted demonstrations of new product features and a suite of integrated solutions tailored to diverse application scenarios. As a global leader in photovoltaic module manufacturing, Talesun Photovoltaic has consistently maintained a technological edge in the PV industry, continuously pursuing innovative research and making substantial investments to meet the diverse demand for high-efficiency modules in the market.
The “Qilin” module showcased at this event integrates multiple innovative technologies, including 182 mm‑size silicon wafers, MBB multi‑busbar design, and a completely new internal circuit architecture. With a maximum power output of 590 W, the module’s bifacial cell technology is suitable for diverse applications, delivering an additional 5%–25% in energy generation. Furthermore, leveraging Talesun Photovoltaic’s proprietary PERX technology, the module significantly enhances its resistance to microcracking and PID, while reducing resistive losses, thus achieving a new generation of products that combine high power, high conversion efficiency, and exceptional reliability.
Meanwhile, also unveiled at the exhibition were Talesun Photovoltaic’s 166-series modules, featuring 166 mm‑sized monocrystalline PERC cells. Silicon wafer When combined with multi-busbar and half-cell technologies, it offers enhanced compatibility and superior cost-effectiveness; module efficiency can reach up to 20.7%, with maximum power output of 450 W. The introduction of the 166‑mm‑cell modules further diversifies Talesun Photovoltaic’s product lineup, providing customers with a broad range of options while meeting their application needs under varying conditions.
All the modules showcased by Talesun Photovoltaic this time employ half-cell technology. This technology is an effective means of reducing internal resistance losses and boosting module power output. Compared with full-cell modules of the same efficiency, half-cell modules deliver a significant power increase. Moreover, under identical shading conditions, the unique structural design of half-cell modules minimizes power loss in solar plants, resulting in superior performance relative to full-cell modules.
