Today is Guyu, the last solar term of spring, as the gentle spring breeze ushers us into the sweltering heat of summer. China’s photovoltaic industry gathered once again for its annual highlight: the China International Solar Photovoltaic Energy Exhibition and Application Fair, which was held as scheduled on April 20, 2021, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing—Jing’an Zhuang Hall. In just over a decade, China’s PV sector has achieved leapfrog development, firmly establishing itself as a key symbol of the nation’s technological prowess. With the theme of advancing clean energy to support carbon neutrality, the exhibition drew large crowds amid the broader economic recovery following the pandemic, showcasing products such as Talesun Photovoltaic’s Kirin series.
Today is Guyu, the last solar term of spring, as the gentle spring breeze ushers us into the sweltering heat of summer. China’s annual gathering for the photovoltaic industry—the China International Solar Photovoltaic Energy Exhibition and Application—was held as scheduled on April 20, 2021, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing (Jing’anzhuang Venue). In just over a decade, China’s photovoltaic sector has achieved leapfrog development, firmly establishing itself as a key symbol of China’s technological prowess.

The exhibition, themed “Developing Clean Energy to Support Carbon Neutrality,” drew large crowds amid the broader economic recovery in the post-pandemic era. Among the highlights, Talesun Photovoltaic’s high-efficiency “Qilin” series modules garnered particular attention.

On display at the booth was the “Qilin” module, built on 182 mm large‑size silicon wafers. With a power output of up to 590 W, it carries forward the Qilin series’ hallmark attributes: high power, excellent PID resistance, superior resistance to hidden cracks, and outstanding mechanical load performance. This product is based on M10 gallium‑doped monocrystalline silicon wafers and incorporates MBB multi‑busbar technology, reducing internal losses while enhancing crack resistance and PID immunity. Its first‑year degradation is just 2%, with annual degradation thereafter not exceeding 0.45–0.55%. The Qilin module further elevates the efficiency and overall performance of photovoltaic modules, making it an ideal choice for both domestic and international PV markets.
At this exhibition, Talesun Solar showcased products spanning the two mainstream sizes—182 mm and 166 mm—while its diverse cell‑layout designs offer customers a wide range of options and meet the requirements of various application scenarios, thereby maximizing customer value.
As the “dual carbon” goals have been elevated to a national strategy and the inaugural year of carbon neutrality has officially begun, the energy transition has become imperative, ushering in a new phase of rapid growth for photovoltaic power generation. To further promote the widespread adoption of solar PV and seize new opportunities within the new development paradigm—centered on domestic circulation while fostering mutual reinforcement between domestic and international circulations—Talesun Photovoltaic will continue to refine its global market footprint, pursue technological innovation in both products and integrated solutions, consistently enhance the quality of its offerings and services, and steadily accelerate the expansion of the PV market. By doing so, it will keep driving the low‑carbon energy transition and inject green momentum into the world’s sustainable development.
