Recently, Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhongli Group (hereinafter referred to as Talesun Photovoltaic), signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Group. The two parties reached consensus to establish a mutually beneficial partnership for sharing resources in overseas new‑energy projects. Attending the signing ceremony were Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun Photovoltaic; Xu Jia, Deputy General Manager of Talesun Photovoltaic’s overseas projects; Li Xiaoming, Investment Director and Head of the Industrial Development Department at Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Group; and Zheng Rui, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Engineering Complete Sets Co., Ltd., among others. The cooperation agreement signed this time between Talesun Photovoltaic and Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Group aims to jointly pursue overseas new‑energy projects.

The two parties reached consensus to establish a cooperative relationship based on “resource sharing and mutual benefit” in the field of overseas new‑energy projects. Attending the signing ceremony were Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun Photovoltaic; Xu Jia, Deputy General Manager of Talesun Photovoltaic’s overseas projects; Li Xiaoming, Director of Investment and Head of the Industrial Development Department at Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Group; and Zheng Rui, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Electric Transmission & Distribution Engineering Complete Sets Co., Ltd., among others.
The cooperation agreement recently signed between Talesun Photovoltaic and Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Group aims to jointly deliberate on the establishment of a platform for investing in, developing, constructing, and operating overseas new‑energy projects, thereby strengthening close alignment and forging a comprehensive strategic partnership. The two parties will leverage complementary strengths: Talesun Photovoltaic will capitalize on its expertise in market development, while Shanghai Electric will draw on its robust platform capabilities and industry clout to expand into international markets, pursue new‑energy power‑plant projects, and collectively enhance their core competitiveness for mutual success.
Li Xiaoming, Director of Investment and Head of the Industrial Development Department at Shanghai Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Group, stated that Shanghai Electric is a large, diversified, high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise whose core businesses are concentrated in three major areas: energy equipment, industrial equipment, and integrated services.
