Recently, three Vietnamese banks—the Military Bank of Vietnam (MB), the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), and the Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank)—have successively announced financing and investment initiatives for photovoltaic projects in Vietnam, with Talesun Photovoltaic prominently listed among the beneficiaries. This means that projects using Talesun PV modules will find it easier to secure funding and non-recourse loans from local Vietnamese banks, thereby attracting more large-scale domestic solar‑power plant projects to procure Talesun modules and boosting both its module sales and project‑development operations. Talesun Photovoltaic has been actively expanding its presence in the Southeast Asian market for many years; as early as 2015, it completed a power project in Thailand.

Recently, three Vietnamese banks—the Military Bank of Vietnam (MB), the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), and the Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank)—have successively announced investment‑financing programs for photovoltaic projects in Vietnam, with Talesun Photovoltaic listed among the eligible suppliers. This means that projects using Talesun PV modules will find it easier to secure financing and non‑recourse loans from local Vietnamese banks, attracting more large‑scale PV power‑plant developers to procure Talesun modules and thereby boosting both module sales and project‑development activities.

Talesun Photovoltaic has been strategically positioned in the Southeast Asian market for many years, having completed the investment and construction of its battery and module manufacturing facilities in Thailand as early as 2015. Since partnering with Singapore’s LYS Energy Group in May this year to enter Vietnam’s commercial and industrial PV market, Talesun Photovoltaic has steadily expanded its presence there, securing numerous large‑scale contracts and establishing a mature project development framework along with comprehensive EPC services. Backed by high‑quality PV modules and end‑to‑end, reliable power‑plant operation and maintenance, Talesun Photovoltaic recently achieved a new monthly shipment milestone of 70 MW in Vietnam.

The photovoltaic project financing and investment system for Vietnamese banks, recognized by Talesun Photovoltaics, is a bank‑initiated listing framework tailored to the Vietnamese market. It evaluates photovoltaic module suppliers based on “financing reliability”—specifically, whether projects using the supplier’s solar products can secure non‑recourse debt financing from banks—thus serving as a key criterion for inclusion. The system aims to enhance transparency among numerous PV module manufacturers. Financing reliability ratings are determined through a comprehensive assessment that considers factors such as a company’s financial health, performance data from its modules in real‑world projects, and the quality of its product warranties and long‑term reliability.

Currently, high bankability is becoming a scarce resource that PV companies are fiercely vying for. Developers prefer to partner with module manufacturers that offer strong financing value, thereby driving premium pricing in project financings. Three prominent local Vietnamese banks have all included Talesun on their list of eligible financable suppliers, underscoring the widespread recognition in the Vietnamese market of Talesun reliable product quality, comprehensive service system, sound financial performance, and exceptional financing capabilities. To date, Talesun Solar has earned the trust and endorsement of numerous renowned financial institutions worldwide. Since 2017, Talesun Solar has been rated as a Tier‑1 PV module manufacturer by BloombergNEF, with its products backed by material and power warranties from Munich Re, and widely deployed in PV projects across Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and other regions.

As one of the most promising photovoltaic markets in Southeast Asia, Vietnam has long been a key destination in Talesun Photovoltaic’s international expansion strategy. Being included on the list of eligible borrowers by three prominent local Vietnamese banks is a strong endorsement of Talesun cutting-edge technology, reliable product quality, and sound financial health. Moving forward, Talesun Photovoltaic will remain committed to delivering high‑quality PV modules and comprehensive solutions, developing localized PV projects that combine technological innovation, a strong brand reputation, efficient products, and robust construction and financial support. By providing superior products and services, we aim to maximize the value of solar power plants, creating greater value and returns for our investors.
