On August 3, 2016, General Mao Xinyu and his wife, Ms. Liu Bin, paid a visit to Zhongli Group for an inspection. Accompanied by President Zhou Jianxin, they conducted on-site tours of Zhongli Talesun agrivoltaic project, the Wannong Ecological Photovoltaic Power Station, and Zhongli Talesun headquarters, and delivered a special lecture on Mao Zedong Thought to Zhongli employees. The delegation led by General Mao undertook a field inspection of Zhongli Group. Zhongli Group is a nationally recognized key high-tech enterprise, a diversified industrial conglomerate specializing in multiple sectors, including wire and cable, optical fiber and cable, advanced polymer materials, the solar photovoltaic industry chain, titanium metal 3D printing, and military‑industrial electronics. On this occasion, General Mao and his entourage visited Zhongli.

General Mao and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of Zhongli Group. A nationally recognized key high-tech enterprise, Zhongli Group is a diversified industrial conglomerate specializing in multiple sectors, including wire and cable, optical fiber and cable, advanced polymer materials, the solar photovoltaic value chain, titanium‑based 3D printing, and defense‑related electronics. During this visit, General Mao and his team toured the “Wannong Ecological Photovoltaic” power station, constructed by Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic, a subsidiary of Zhongli Group.
Subsequently, General Mao delivered a special lecture, expounding the essence of Mao Zedong Thought to the attendees. During the meeting, he emphasized: “Mao Zedong Thought has been tested by the Chinese revolution; under his correct guidance, we have achieved victory in the Chinese revolution and made remarkable accomplishments in national development.” He added that, despite the rapid advancement of information technology today, we must continue to uphold the “living soul” of Mao Zedong Thought and apply it to our production and daily life. At the same time, he expressed full appreciation for ZhongliTalesun innovative and highly efficient agrivoltaic project.
