Zhongli Talesun held the unveiling ceremony for the “Suzhou New‑Type Solar Product Technology and Energy Storage Systems Enterprise Research Institute” and convened the inaugural meeting of its Corporate Technical Committee.

Recently, Zhongli Talesun held the unveiling ceremony for the “Suzhou Municipal Enterprise Research Institute for New‑Type Solar Energy Products and Energy Storage Systems,” concurrently convening the inaugural meeting of the company’s Technical Committee. Attending the ceremony were leaders at various levels, including Zhu Liancheng, Director of the Science and Technology Achievement Division of the Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau; Cha Yinhua and Peng Weiguo, Deputy Directors of the Changshu Science and Technology Bureau; as well as Yao Cailian, Deputy Town Mayor of Shajiabang Town, and Director Zhu Lija, along with other relevant officials. Representing the Group and the company were Vice President Lei Jianshe of Zhongli Group, President Zhou Jianxin of Zhongli Talesun, and Dr. Ni Zhichun, Vice President, among others. The event also welcomed distinguished guests, including Academician Chu Junhao from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Zhu Jianguo of Sichuan University, and Professor Shen Honglie of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. During the meeting, Director Zhu Liancheng read out Documents No. 135 (2016) and No. 59 (2016) issued jointly by the Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau and the Suzhou Finance Bureau—“Approval for the Establishment of the Enterprise Research Institute for New‑Type Solar Energy Products and Energy Storage Systems at Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.”—and, together with President Zhou Jianxin, officially unveiled the institute.

The establishment of the “Zhongli Talesun New‑Type Solar Energy Products Technology and Energy Storage Systems Corporate Research Institute” is of great significance for advancing the photovoltaic industry and achieving grid parity. The institute’s objectives are to build upon the company’s existing foundation, leverage industry–university–research collaboration, attract and cultivate top scientists and engineering practitioners, and enhance the institute’s modernization and cutting‑edge R&D capabilities, thereby creating a corporate research institute that ranks among the world’s leading in scientific and technological excellence and features innovative institutional mechanisms.

Following the unveiling ceremony, Zhongli Talesun convened the inaugural meeting of its Corporate Technical Committee and simultaneously held the first academic conference of the committee. At the meeting, Lei Jianshe, Vice President of Zhongke Technology Group, read out the company’s appointment documents, designating Academician Chu Junhao of the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as Chair of the Technical Committee, and appointing Professor Zhu Jianguo of Sichuan University, Professor Shen Honglie of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Dr. Ni Zhichun of Zhongli Talesun, and Dr. Wei Qingzhu as members of the committee. Appointment certificates were then presented to all committee members. Following the ceremony, the technical committee members offered their insights and recommendations on the company’s technological development, putting forward valuable suggestions for its future growth.

Zhou Jianxin, President of Zhongli Talesun, stated that the establishment of the corporate research institute should align with the future direction of technological development in the industry. Science and Technology Expert Committee.
