The Solar Power International exhibition, co-hosted by the Smart Power Alliance (SPEA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), was first held in San Francisco in 2003. Since then, it has toured across the United States each year from September to October, stopping in cities such as San Diego, Anaheim, and Los Angeles. This event is a major platform for advancing solar technologies and driving the solar industry forward, and it ranks among the most successful and influential international trade shows in the sector. As a key indicator of trends in the North American—and indeed global—solar-plus-storage market, Solar Power International has become a strategic foothold for companies worldwide seeking to enter the North American market.
At this year’s RE+ trade show, Talesun Solar prominently showcased its N‑type TOPCon module, the BIPRO_TM7G72M. Featuring a large‑frame design based on the 72‑cell TOPCon architecture, the TM7G72M delivers a maximum power output of 580 W and an impressive conversion efficiency of 22.46%. With superior power‑derating characteristics and a lower temperature coefficient, it is well suited for a wider range of installation scenarios, effectively meeting the diverse needs of the North American market. In addition, the exhibition also highlighted the all‑black TP7F54M module and the high‑efficiency double‑glass TD7G72M. The TD7G72M utilizes 182 mm‑size cells, achieving up to 550 W of power, while its bifacial operation helps reduce costs and boost yields. Its exceptional abrasion resistance and excellent PID‑mitigation performance ensure reliable performance even in harsh environments. Meanwhile, the TP7F54M, with its sleek all‑black aesthetic, has garnered strong favor; its proprietary circuit design significantly lowers hot‑spot temperatures, minimizes power loss, and enhances overall energy generation.
