Recently, TÜV Rheinland conducted a re‑assessment of the TMP accreditation for the Talesun Photovoltaic Testing and Inspection Center. The expert panel carried out a comprehensive review of the center’s organizational structure, quality management system, testing procedures, test reports, metrology certificates, and other relevant aspects. Following the evaluation, the center’s testing capabilities and management standards were fully recognized as compliant with the ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system standard, as well as the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 series of testing standards, thereby successfully passing TÜV Rheinland’s TMP laboratory accreditation review. In recent years, driven by the dual carbon goals, the photovoltaic industry has experienced rapid growth—particularly in N‑type technologies such as TOPCon and HJT.

In recent years, driven by the “dual carbon” goals, the photovoltaic industry has experienced rapid growth. In particular, the widespread adoption of N-type cells such as TOPCon and HJT, along with the introduction of new materials and advanced manufacturing processes, has placed increasingly stringent demands on the reliability of photovoltaic modules. With its accreditation by CNAS this year and its recent recognition by TÜV Rheinland, Talesun Photovoltaic Testing and Inspection Center has demonstrated that it maintains a leading position in the industry. All staff at the center will continue to strive for excellence, upholding a down-to-earth and rigorous approach to make their due contributions to the development of Talesun Photovoltaic.
The laboratory covers an area of 2,000 square meters, with a total investment exceeding RMB 30 million. It is equipped with more than 40 state-of-the-art instruments and equipment, both domestic and international, and employs a team of highly qualified testing professionals. The facility comprises four specialized laboratories: the Materials Testing Lab, the Safety Testing Lab, the Performance Testing Lab, and the Environmental Testing Lab, offering a comprehensive suite of tests—from product certification procedures and component reliability assessments to accelerated aging studies and material evaluation and research. The laboratory complies with international photovoltaic standards such as IEC 61215, IEC 61730, and UL 61730, and its testing capabilities broadly encompass all relevant test items under IEC, UL, and other major international standards.
