On October 28, a delegation of 15 representatives—including officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan Electricity Authority, the Saraburi Provincial Electricity Authority, Talesun Thai partner RSS Company, and Thailand’s GPO Company—visited Talesun Solar. Xu Jia, Vice President of Sales for Talesun in the Asia-Pacific region, stated, “In August this year, Talesun signed a 1 MW commercial‑industrial rooftop project contract with a customer, located in Saraburi Province, which is expected to connect to the grid in November. The project has garnered significant attention from the local energy authorities; accordingly, we dispatched several key personnel to accompany the delegation as technical advisors. As Thailand is one of Talesun pivotal markets in Southeast Asia, we place great importance on future collaborative projects with the Thai government. Talesun established a photovoltaic cell and module manufacturing facility in Thailand as early as 2015, and by the third quarter of this year, our module production capacity had reached 1.2 GW. Currently, we have accumulated extensive experience in numerous commercial‑industrial rooftop distributed generation projects across Southeast Asia, supported by a dedicated EPC team specializing in such projects. We are confident that, leveraging these many strengths, our market presence in Thailand will continue to grow and thrive.”
