On January 10, 2021, the first module of the first phase of Talesun Shandong’s 5 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic project officially rolled off the production line. Su Ruigang, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Linzi Economic Development Zone; Sun Shouqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Economic Development Zone; Zhou Pengfei, Secretary of the Party Committee of Fenghuang Town; and Zhao Yingang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Town Mayor, attended the event. Cao Bin, General Manager of Shandong Talesun, was present to accompany them and jointly witnessed the module’s rollout.

The Shandong Talesun 5 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module expansion project is located in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park of the Linzi Economic Development Zone. It is invested and established by Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of RMB 2 billion, covering an area of 168.47 mu and a planned total floor area of over 68,000 square meters. Upon completion of Phase I and reaching full production capacity, the project will generate an annual output value of RMB 9 billion and create more than 700 jobs. Once the entire project is fully operational, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of RMB 13 billion.
