Talesun Photovoltaic attended as scheduled, showcasing two high-efficiency products, and its booth drew a steady stream of attendees. High‑efficiency modules garnered significant attention. In response to the unique demands of the South American market, Talesun presented two cutting‑edge products: BIPROTD6E72M and BISTARTP6H72P. From August 27 to 29, the three-day 2019 Intersolar South America concluded successfully in São Paulo, Brazil. As one of the most influential and innovative green-energy exhibitions in South America, the event showcased cutting-edge solar technologies. Talesun Solar attended as scheduled with two high-efficiency products, drawing a steady stream of visitors to its booth.
High-efficiency modules are attracting attention.
In response to the unique demands of the South American market, Talesun showcased two high-efficiency products: the BIPRO TD6E72M and the BISTAR TP6H72P.
BISTAR TP6H72P 144-cell half-cut polycrystalline module, with a maximum power output of up to 355 W. Polycrystalline modules offer a lower price per watt compared to monocrystalline PERC modules and exhibit reduced annual degradation, making them ideally suited for emerging markets in South America—regions dominated by developing countries yet rich in solar irradiance.
The BIPRO TD6E72M is a 72-cell bifacial, double-glass module with a maximum single-sided power output of 400 W. Combined with up to 25% additional energy generation from the rear side, its overall bifacial power output can reach 500 W. Bifacial modules have become an inevitable trend in the future development of photovoltaic technology, and for the South American market—where levelized cost of electricity is critically important—bifacial modules are truly a “godsend.”
The Argentine project is in full swing.
As one of the earliest companies to enter the South American market, Talesun Photovoltaic developed a 315 MW large-scale photovoltaic project in Jujuy City, Jujuy Province, Argentina, two years ago. The project was undertaken in collaboration with prominent domestic enterprises such as PowerChina and Huawei, officially breaking ground in April 2018 and slated for completion by October 2019. Upon completion, it will become the largest single-site photovoltaic power plant in Latin America, with an installed capacity surpassing that of France’s Sestas Solar Park—ranked ninth globally at 300 MW.
The project agreement was signed in May 2017, during the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, witnessed by President Xi Jinping and President Mauricio Macri. It is the first—and to date the only—major bilateral cooperation project to have been fully implemented since the Macri administration took office, and also Argentina’s first project to utilize a “two‑preference” loan.

As one of the world’s most promising emerging markets, South America boasts exceptional natural solar irradiance, complemented by supportive government policies for photovoltaic power generation. Leveraging its first-mover advantage and robust project portfolio in the region, Talesun Photovoltaic is poised to deliver even greater clean energy capacity across South America in the years ahead.
On the second night of the exhibition, Talesun hosted a grand client‑appreciation event in São Paulo for prospective customers who had visited the show. The gathering brought together Brazilian distributors and project installers, as well as a diverse array of clients from other countries across South America. The atmosphere was vibrant, with music complementing fine wines and lively toasts exchanged amid a relaxed, elegant setting—perfect for discussing business opportunities and finalizing cooperation details. This added a touch of warmth and conviviality to what had otherwise been a hectic, high‑energy trade fair, resulting in several promising order commitments.
