This year’s conference is themed “Focusing on the Dual Carbon Goals and Leading Green Development,” combining a high‑level forum with a specialized exhibition. The forum will address key industry topics, including how to achieve carbon neutrality, how to build a new‑type power system, how to advance cutting‑edge photovoltaic technologies, how to deploy energy storage in the industrial and commercial sectors, and how to establish a secure, reliable, and cost‑effective supply chain.
On the afternoon of November 17, a high-level dialogue was held at the “Photovoltaic Industry Ecosystem Conference—2022 Global Photovoltaic Industry Summit.” Participants discussed the pros and cons of vertical integration, the security of the photovoltaic supply chain, and future investment and financing trends in the industry. During the session, Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun Photovoltaic, stated: “In recent years, China’s photovoltaic industry has experienced rapid growth. The supply chain now faces product diversification and the restructuring of an emerging industrial ecosystem, with some segments witnessing significant overcapacity. Under this new industry landscape, companies must decide whether to pursue specialization, moderate vertical integration, or build out a comprehensive industrial ecosystem. At present, leading firms are increasingly adopting robust vertically integrated manufacturing models to enhance supply-chain resilience, strengthen delivery capabilities, and bolster strategic autonomy and profit controllability.” Mr. Dong also urged: “Integrated operations cannot be achieved overnight and demand higher levels of resource management. We recommend that more companies adopt specialization and moderate vertical integration, further reinforcing their core strengths. Over the past decade, the photovoltaic industry has evolved from relatively homogeneous technologies and products to a stage characterized by diversified technologies and a richer array of offerings. If each company leverages its unique advantages, follows a development path suited to its own circumstances, and fosters a more diversified, symbiotic industrial ecosystem, it will be better positioned for future growth.”
During the same period, the “Top 10 Distributed Photovoltaic Brands in China” selection, organized by the Organizing Committee of the China (Wuxi) International New Energy Conference and Exhibition (CREC), officially announced its list of award-winning companies at the awards ceremony. Talesun Photovoltaic once again made the list, marking the latest in a series of accolades that have earned it the title of “Top 10 Distributed PV Module Brands in China.”
