On May 28, 2019, the unveiling ceremony for the establishment of the Changshu Office of the Suzhou Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, together with the launch event of the “Industrial Internet in Districts and Counties” series (Changshu Station), was solemnly held at the Ruite Science and Innovation Center in Changshu City. The event was guided by the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Changshu Municipal People’s Government, hosted by the Changshu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Changshu Yushan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and organized by the Changshu Smart Manufacturing Industry Alliance and the Suzhou Industrial Internet Industry Alliance. Over 150 guests attended, including leaders from these key institutions as well as representatives from participating enterprises. Jiangsu Zhongli Group Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., as the principal founding entities of the Changshu Office of the Suzhou Industrial Internet Industry Alliance, actively participated in the event and signed agreements with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Unisplendour Cloud Engine (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. to jointly build industrial‑internet platforms. Dr. Wei Qingzhu, Director of Research and Development at Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation on enterprise cloud adoption and industrial‑internet development.

Attending the event were Jin Xiaohu, Deputy Director-General of the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, along with Director Wang Xiaoliang; Xu Haidong, Vice Mayor of Changshu; Zhu Xiaofeng, Director of the Changshu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Deputy Director Tang Jianjun; Cheng Feng, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone; Wu Jian, President of the Suzhou Industrial Internet Industry Alliance; Chen Jun, General Manager of China Unicom’s Changshu Branch and Secretary-General of the Changshu Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Alliance; as well as more than 150 representatives from member units of the Leading Group for Promoting the Changshu Office of the Municipal Industrial Internet, member organizations, and invited guests.

During the meeting, leaders from relevant departments delivered important speeches on strengthening the development of the industrial internet and unveiled a series of key initiatives. They called on all participating enterprise representatives and companies across various sectors in the Changshu region to actively engage in the transformation and upgrading toward intelligent manufacturing and the adoption of industrial‑internet technologies, thereby helping enterprises achieve comprehensive cost reductions and efficiency gains at scale and enhancing their overall competitiveness.

Jiangsu Zhongli Group Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to jointly build an industrial Internet platform for enterprises.

Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. and Ziguang Cloud Engine (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to jointly develop a photovoltaic industry platform and an industrial Internet platform.

Subsequently, Dr. Wei Qingzhu, Technical Director of Suzhou Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., shared the company’s experience in enterprise cloud adoption and industrial internet with the attendees. The industrial internet is an emerging business model born out of the “Internet Plus Advanced Manufacturing” initiative; it places management at its core and encompasses innovation, R&D, products, services, processes, operations, and maintenance, among other areas.

Industrial Internet platforms provide the manufacturing sector with a range of enablers for digital, networked, and intelligent transformation. Talesun Photovoltaic does not pursue sheer scale; instead, it closely benchmarks Japan’s Toyota lean‑production system, pioneering an intelligent manufacturing model that emphasizes excellence and precision to deliver high‑quality products to its customers. By integrating IoT, lean management, full‑lifecycle management, and cloud‑based performance evaluation, Talesun has established an intelligent production and operations management framework—creating a replicable, industry‑wide capability that can be widely adopted across the photovoltaic sector.
