Recently, Talesun Photovoltaic and Algonquin Corporation have reached a supply agreement for 57 MW of photovoltaic modules, which will be deployed in Algonquin’s U.S.-based solar projects. Combined with previously signed module orders, Talesun Photovoltaic’s total deliveries to Algonquin now exceed 90 MW. Recently, Talesun Photovoltaic entered into a 57 MW photovoltaic module supply agreement with Algonquin, with the products slated for Algonquin’s solar projects in the United States. Combined with previously signed module orders, Talesun Photovoltaic’s total PV module deliveries to Algonquin now exceed 90 MW.
The newly finalized 57 MW order comprises 126,000 Talesun high-efficiency bifacial photovoltaic modules, which will be shipped to Algonquin’s two project sites in New Mexico and Texas. Once fully operational, the projects are expected to generate up to 67 million kWh of electricity annually, enough to meet the year-round power needs of approximately 7,560 local households.
As a diversified, international utility company headquartered in Canada, Algonquin operates over 4 GW of wind, solar, and hydropower generation capacity, providing renewable energy and water solutions to approximately one million customers across the United States and Canada.
