Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance jointly selected the second batch of Jiangsu Provincial Smart Demonstration Workshops, and Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. was among the recipients. The Jiangsu Provincial Smart Demonstration Workshops represent a key initiative to implement technological upgrades, elevate the level of intelligent manufacturing, and propel the manufacturing sector toward the mid- to high-end. They also constitute a successful application of Jiangsu Province’s strategy to build a manufacturing powerhouse under the “Made in China 2025” framework. Founded in 2009, Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of RMB 5 billion and officially commenced production at the end of 2011, setting records for the largest single-phase capital outlay, the fastest project construction timeline, the most advanced equipment, and the most cutting-edge process technologies.

They also constitute a successful application of Jiangsu Province’s strategy to build a manufacturing powerhouse under the “Made in China 2025” framework.
Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 with a total investment of RMB 5 billion. The company officially commenced production at the end of 2011, setting five industry‑leading records: the largest single‑phase capital investment, the fastest project construction timeline, the most advanced equipment, the latest process technologies, and the highest level of production‑line automation. Over 90% of its equipment—more than 200 sets—has been imported from world‑class manufacturers in Italy, Germany, Japan, and other countries, featuring cutting‑edge automated and intelligent cell‑ and module‑manufacturing and testing systems. The company is the only enterprise in China’s photovoltaic sector to have obtained VDE certification for full‑process quality control. Its smart photovoltaic module workshop integrates Internet and IoT technologies into the manufacturing process, shifting from a “human‑brain analysis and judgment + machine‑based production” model to a fully machine‑driven approach. This not only elevates production capacity but also significantly boosts line efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs.
Dr. Ni Zhichun, Vice President of Zhongli Talesun, stated: In recent years, with strong support from economic and information technology commissions at all levels, the company has vigorously pursued collaborative development of new intelligent hardware and software, as well as a series of transformation‑implementation projects, steadily transitioning toward an intelligent manufacturing model.
