Recently, the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Sichuan University signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhongli Talesun Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., further deepening their collaboration. Attending the signing ceremony were Zhu Jianguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Sichuan University; Professors Zhang Jingquan and He Zhiyu of the school; Pu Xiaofeng, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Shajiabang Town, Changshu City; Zhu Lija, Director of the Science and Technology Office of Shajiabang Town, Changshu City; Ni Zhichun, Vice President of Zhongli Talesun; Lei Xianfeng, Director of the Human Resources Department; Wei Qingzhu, Director of Battery R&D; Li Chunhui, Director of Module R&D; along with other relevant leaders. Zhongli Talesun and Sichuan University have already been actively engaged in industry–university–research collaborations, including undergraduate internships and practical training.

Zhongli Talesun and Sichuan University have already engaged in extensive industry–university–research collaboration, encompassing undergraduate internships, graduate training, and the development of research projects. Dr. Ni Zhichun, Vice President of Technology R&D at Zhongli Talesun, stated: “The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks a new chapter in our partnership with Sichuan University, spanning industry–university–research collaboration, the cultivation of cutting-edge scientific talent, the establishment of national-level platforms, and international project cooperation. We look forward to frequent exchanges and deeper cooperation, pursuing more advanced joint research and development in the solar photovoltaic field, and contributing our modest efforts to the nation’s energy conservation and environmental protection initiatives.”

The company has thus once again earned international recognition for its laboratory capacity building and quality management.

The Mission of a Beam of Light: Talesun Photovoltaic Wins Second Prize in the Suzhou AI Video Competition

Recently, the AI‑based science‑communication video “The Mission of a Beam of Light,” created by Talesun Photovoltaic, won the second prize in the Social Category of the 2026 Suzhou Artificial Intelligence Video Production Competition. The competition received a total of 525 entries, and Talesun Photovoltaic leveraged AI technology to advance the dissemination of photovoltaic knowledge, showcasing innovative approaches in video production and scientific communication.
