Talesun Management Expansion Meeting: Reviewing 2021 and Looking Ahead to 2022

Talesun Photovoltaic recently held an expanded management meeting at its headquarters in Changshu. Chairman Wang Weifeng, President Dong Shuguang, along with managers from all functional departments—including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, finance, and administration—gathered to review and reflect on the challenges and shortcomings in 2021’s operations and management, clarify the requirements and strategic direction for operational oversight, and outline the company’s vision for the coming year. Global new photovoltaic capacity additions in 2021 are projected at around 150 GW, slightly below the more conservative estimates made by industry analysts at the beginning of the year. In particular, China’s new PV installations fell short of expectations; as of the end of October, nationwide additions totaled less than 30 GW.

Talesun Photovoltaic once again joins forces with Hefei Buno to jointly usher in a new chapter in the 2022 photovoltaic market.

Recently, Dong Shuguang, President of Talesun Photovoltaic, led a delegation to Hefei Buno Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hefei Buno), where they paid a courtesy visit to General Manager Dai Xijun and other company executives. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on current trends in the photovoltaic market, corporate development strategies, business models, and R&D technologies, and subsequently signed a strategic cooperation agreement for 500 MW in 2022. Under the terms of the agreement, Hefei Buno will procure from Talesun Photovoltaic a total of no less than 500 MW of photovoltaic products in 2022. Talesun Photovoltaic has supplied 222 MW of bifacial modules for a project in Texas, USA.

Talesun Photovoltaic recently announced that it has signed a photovoltaic module supply agreement with Brazoria West Solar Project, LLC, a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Savion. Under the agreement, Talesun will deliver 222 MW of high-efficiency bifacial modules for a project in Texas. Savion is one of the largest and most technologically advanced developers of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects in the United States, and it is part of Green Investment Group, the world’s first green investment bank.
